Delete your SochWise account
You can start account deletion from inside the SochWise app or request deletion help by email. Your account is deactivated immediately, recoverable for 30 days by contacting us, then permanently deleted after the recovery window.
Start deletion inside the app
- Open SochWise.
- Go to Profile.
- Choose Remove account.
- Confirm the removal.
- You are signed out and account access is removed immediately.
What happens immediately
Once you confirm deletion, your account is deactivated. Your existing sessions, chat history, clarity summaries, decisions, Life Lens insights, personal playbook, profile details, and account data are no longer accessible inside SochWise.
If you sign in again with the same login during the recovery window, SochWise may create a fresh active account instead of showing the old deactivated data.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email support@sochwise.com from the email address used for your SochWise account with the subject “Delete my SochWise account”.
What deletion means
When you remove your account, it is deactivated immediately and scheduled for permanent deletion. This means the account and associated app data are no longer accessible in the app.
If the deletion was accidental, contact support@sochwise.com within 30 days from the email address used for your SochWise account with the subject “Restore my SochWise account”. We can help restore the account during this recovery window where technically and legally possible.
After 30 days, deleted accounts and associated app data are scheduled for permanent deletion or de-identification unless limited retention is required for security, legal, abuse-prevention, dispute, or operational reasons.
Data covered by deletion
- Account and profile information.
- Onboarding details such as age range, gender, country, and profession.
- Sessions, chat messages, generated clarity summaries, and decisions.
- Life Lens insights, personal playbook data, feedback, and AI reports.
Timeline
- Immediately: the account is deactivated and access is removed from the app.
- Days 1-30: you can contact us to request restoration.
- After day 30: the account is permanently deleted or de-identified.
